Gettin it right

my new favorite song from Glee:
What have I done? I wish I could run
Away from this ship goin under
Just tryin to help out everyone else
Now I feel the weight of the world is on my shoulders

What can you do when your good isn't good enough
And all that you touch tumbles down?
Cause my best intentions keep makin a mess of things
I just wanna fix it somehow

But how many times will it take?
Oh how many times will it take for me
To get it right
To get it right

Can I start again, with my fate again
Cause I can't go back and endure this
I just have to stay and face my mistakes,
But if I get stronger and wiser, I'll get through this

What can you do when you're good isn't good enough?
And all that you touch tumbles down?
Coz my best intentions keep makin a mess of things,
I just wanna fix it somehow
But how many times will it take?
Oh, how many times will it take for me to
Get it right?

So I throw up my fists, throw a punch in the air,
And accept the truth that sometimes life isn't fair
I'll send down a wish and I'll send up a prayer
And finally someone will see how much I care

What can you do when you're good isn't good enough?
And all that you touch tumbles down?
My best intentions keep making a mess of things,
I just wanna fix it somehow
But how many times will it take? Oooh
How many times will it take for me
To get it right, to get it right?

Its Not What You Say:

Ever wonder how much a person can be hurt by words? I'm not talking about racial slurs. I've come to realize that words really hurt a woman a lot more than a physical hurt, how can you explain a woman being physically abused only to still love her abuser enough to stay in that enivronment. I know that's a stretch of the all the dynamics involved; fear and denial and wrong thinking.

Not only that , but it can be what you don't say that can also hurt a woman. You look nice today... thanks that was a great meal... and I love you, all come to mind. Their efforts take time and energy to make home life complete and it's important to be observant of these facts. Clean laundry isn't washed by the Keebler elves and let's not forget shopping for food bargains and child care. Simply ask her how her day was and you will realize the managed chaos, and time consumption. It's only to feel appreciated that makes it all worth it.

Action speaks louder than words for guys, so why ignor all the things done in the household? In the day of the professional woman( two wage earners required), life has gotten a little more difficult for everyone, so if you are a human being, you need to do your share around the house otherwise you may find it difficult once the one doing all the work decides it would be easier to live on her own.

If you wanted a Mommy, you could have stayed at home with your folks.
